Does the platform confirm that a packaging item is PPWR compliant?

No. The platform manages and displays data and documents provided by the respective manufacturer, distributor or other responsible economic operator. What you see is a supplier-declared status, not a legal assessment by the platform.

What do the compliance documents cost?

Accepted Answer

Nothing. Every published compliance document is free to download for customers — no account needed. Without an account a limit of 5 downloads per day applies; Customer Business removes it. The platform is paid for by manufacturers and distributors.

Question 3

What happens when a manufacturer updates a document?

Accepted Answer

A new version is created. The previous revision is fully preserved and stays traceable. Customers who downloaded the document or watch the item are notified automatically.

Question 4

Do I keep access to documents I downloaded?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every download is recorded in your company document archive, including the revision you received. If the manufacturer later publishes a new version, you see it there straight away.

Question 5

How are the documents protected?

Accepted Answer

Documents live in private storage and are not reachable through a public URL. Every download passes a server-side permission check, receives a short-lived signed link, and is recorded in the audit log.

Question 6

Can I create several users for my company?

The MVP provides one user per registration; the document archive belongs to the company rather than the individual. Full team management is planned for a later stage.
